About Tune Piano
Meet Hoz
Dedicated to giving every piano the care and attention it deserves — from a well-loved family upright to a concert grand.
Hoz's Story
Hoz trained for three years at the School of Musical Instrument Craft at Newark College — one of the UK's most respected institutions for piano technology — graduating with a BA (Hons) in Musical Instrument Craft (Piano). The course gave him a thorough grounding in tuning, regulation, voicing, and restoration across all types of acoustic piano.
Immediately after graduating, he was invited to complete a six-month specialist training programme at the Yamaha Selection Room — working hands-on with some of the finest instruments in the country and deepening his understanding of modern piano technology and care.
Hoz is now a technician with Piano Restorations Ltd, one of the world's most highly regarded piano restoration companies. That relationship keeps him at the forefront of the craft — working on exceptional instruments and continuing to develop his skills alongside some of the best technicians in the industry.
Every visit is approached with the same care: a thorough assessment, honest advice, and work carried out to the highest standard. The goal is always a piano that sounds and feels its best — for whoever is playing it.
